These policies are here to protect both my time and my livelihood. In this industry, cancellations, no-shows, and last minute changes happen often - sometimes with excuses that may or may not be true. But regardless of the reason, when a client doesn't show up, I still have bills, rent, and expenses that don't stop.

This is my career - not a hobby. It's how I support my family, keep a roof over our heads, pay my car note, buy groceries, and afford the space I work in, so much more... When someone books an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for them. If it goes unused, I can't fill it last minute - and that's lost income.

So these policies are simply about respecting time, commitment, and professionalism. If you book an appointment, please treat it seriously. Be responsible, be communicative, and show up as scheduled. It keeps things fair for everyone and helps me continue providing quality service for all my clients.

Policies

By booking an appointment at Laugh & Lash Lounge, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions. These policies protect my time, ensure fairness, and maintain a peaceful, professional, faith-filled studio environment.


Card on File (Required for All Bookings)
A valid, up-to-date card on file is required for all bookings. This card will only be charged in accordance with the policies below for deposits, late cancellations, or no-shows. By booking, you authorize Laugh & Lash Lounge to securely store and charge the card if needed. All card information is encrypted through Wix Payments.

Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows:                   24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in an 80% charge of the scheduled service total. No-shows will result in a 100% charge of the scheduled service total. These policies are firm and non-negotiable.

Examples: If your appointment is at 2:00 PM on Friday, you must cancel before 2:00 PM on Thursday to avoid a charge. Canceling at 10:00 PM Thursday is within 24 hours and will be charged 80%. Not showing up or contacting me at all results in a 100% charge.

Client’s Responsibility to Cancel: If you need to cancel before the 24-hour window, it is your responsibility to do so directly through the booking website. Do not text, DM, call, or verbally request me to cancel your appointment — your booking, your responsibility.

Outstanding Balances: If a cancellation or no-show fee remains unpaid, your account balance must be paid in full before booking another appointment. Failure to pay will result in being blocked from future bookings until the balance is resolved.

Charge Timing & Rescheduling: If you cancel late, the 80% fee will be charged immediately to your card on file. If your card declines, you may still make payment arrangements — but payment is required before any future appointments can be booked. If you miss multiple appointments, each day missed will be charged separately (e.g., 80% per missed day).

Respect for Time & Consistency: My time and craft deserve respect. If you continually cancel last-minute, reschedule inconveniently, or fail to show up multiple times, you will be permanently blocked from booking any future appointments.

Grace & Payment Plans: I understand that life happens. As long as you remain communicative and respectful of my time, I’m always willing to work with you — including payment plans through the options listed on my booking site checkout page.

Deposits:
Some services require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward your total balance for that specific appointment only. If you cancel or reschedule for any reason, your deposit does not transfer and is not refundable — a new deposit will be required to book a different day or time.


Late Arrival Policy:
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please message me as soon as possible. Clients who arrive more than 10–15 minutes late may have their service shortened out of fairness to the next client. If you are 15 minutes or more late, your appointment may be canceled, and the 80% late-cancellation fee will apply.

Clean Lash Policy:
Please arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. I always cleanse lashes before every service to ensure the best retention and results. However, if you arrive wearing eye makeup, mascara, or heavy buildup, additional cleansing takes more time and product. In those cases, a $10 Lash Bath fee will be added to your total.


Lash Fix Grace Period
Laugh & Lash Lounge offers a 24–48-hour grace period for abnormal lash loss. If you experience unusual shedding, you must contact me within 24–48 hours of your appointment time, provide proof (a clear photo), and come in within two days for a complimentary fix — no later. If not, the fix becomes void. No refunds or discounts are offered for lash issues outside this window.


No Children Policy:
For safety reasons and to maintain a calm, professional environment, children are not permitted in the studio unless they are being serviced. If you show up with a child without prior notice, your appointment may be canceled on the spot, and the 80% late-cancellation fee will apply.


Health & Safety Policy:
If you are sick, contagious, or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, the flu, or any illness, please reschedule your appointment. Illness does not automatically waive your cancellation policy. You must notify me as soon as possible and may be asked for proof. If you cancel within 24 hours due to illness, a 50% fee applies. Without proper notice, the 80% fee applies.


Communication Hours & Response Time:
I do my best to respond to all messages in a timely manner. Please keep in mind that I currently work limited salon hours, but I always check messages and respond as soon as I can. You don’t need to send multiple messages — I promise I’ll get back to you once I’m available.


Product Purchase Policy:
All lash fans, lash cleansers, and other retail products are final sale for hygiene and safety reasons. Once products leave the studio, returns, refunds, or exchanges cannot be accepted. This policy applies to all current and future retail items.


Touch-Up & Fill Time Frame Policy:
If you schedule a two-week fill but arrive missing more than 50–60% of your extensions, it will qualify as a three-week fill instead. You may choose whether to proceed — but if you decline, a fee will still apply. If you arrive missing more than what a typical three-week fill includes, it may be considered a full set. If you can count your extensions, it’s automatically a full set.


Photo & Content Use Consent:
Photos or videos may be taken during or after your appointment for social media or portfolio use. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let me know before your appointment.


Right to Refuse Service:
Laugh & Lash Lounge reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone displaying disrespectful behavior, poor hygiene, or failure to comply with these policies. This includes repeated lateness, no-shows, or lack of communication.


Payments:
All payments, deposits, and services are non-refundable and non-transferable. I accept payments only through approved studio methods (Wix checkout, card on file, or cash in person). I do not accept CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, or any similar payment apps.


Grace & Understanding:
If you reach out respectfully, I will always meet you with grace and understanding. Emergencies happen — communication is key.
